Larrison family history

I have in my posession a small paper pamphlet entitled "The 300 Years of the Larrisons 1665-1965" I live in the heart of Larison/Larrison country here near Odessa NY. My immediate side of the Larrison family comes from Sabinsville PA. I can try and answer questions from this little book, if you email me at glarrison61@juno.com. This is a priceless little book, printed by my great-aunt, and hopefully can help those Larrisons looking for info. If anyone out there can help me as well, I am looking for Larrisons that served in the Civil War of 1861-1865. Any info. would be helpful, I have several names from PA, looking for any from NY/NJ.
Best Regards,
Gary Larrison

Larrisons of Kimbolton in Guernsey County, Ohio

I am just starting to research the Larrison family who lived for awhile around Kimbolton, Ohio in Guernsey County. I am descended from the McGee line of Muskingum County, but my Mary Jane McGee a sister of my 2nd Great Grandfather married a John W. Larrison. My McGees were mostly coal miners, and I assume John was as well.

He was born in 1858 and died in 1906, whereupon Mary Jane moved back to Muskingum county and remarried. I'm assuming he was indeed related to the Larrisons I've seen on this board and if anyone needed info on him, or his issue they can surely ask and I'll share what I know of him.

I am at a lost in my search of the Larrison family that lived in Hector NY time span of early to mid 1800's to early to mid 1900's, perhaps even longer.
Miner and Susan Larrison had a least one daughter,
Mary Nancy Larrison who married Janett Rolfe of Enfield, NY.
Their son, Earl Rolfe married Grace Cora Spicer of Trumansburg, NY. They later moved to Cecil County MD and Mary Larrison moved with them. All three died and are buried in CC MD.
The spelling may be wrong, it may only have 1 r. If anyone could offer any information it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Barb Rolfe

I need help finding parents of Elizabeth Larrison or Larison (born before 1800 New Jersey) who was married to William Robson/Robinson/Robertson "of Cincinnati". Their daughter Henriette Robson, born abt 1810 Cincinnati married in 1834 New Orleans to Fernandez de Vasconcellos (aka Fred V Cellos), who owned a steamboat company in Louisiana. No info as to whether the Robesons removed to New Orleans too. Circumstantial evidence points to Elizabeth being a member of the Jonathan Larrison family, either a daughter or sister of same. Anyone know for certain?

James Larrison of Indiana

My father was James Larrison. Born about 1903, died 1973. I know he had 3 uncles who lived near Morristown, In. They were Theodore, Charles and Grover. He had a brother, Charles, who had two children..Jerry and Debby. He was raised by the uncles and never would talk about his own parents. I know that his father married Minnie (.........) Larrison at some point, but in the 50's, she was already alone. I have no clue if his father died, divorced...whatever. It says in an old Bible that his father was named Jeff (I believe), but nothing else. Any help finding anything out about any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
my email is nnannerz2@mchsi.com
Nancy Larrison Clinton

I am Tom Larrison. I was adopted into the Larrison Family by Marshall Leon and Mabel Elizabeth Larrison. Marshall was from the Oblong/Olney area of Illinois. His parents were Bill and Myrtie Larrison. My mother remarried into the Campbell Family, but I chose to keep the Larrison surname at the age of 15 since I was the last male in that family.
If anyone has any info on my family lineage I would be most appreciative.

My grandmother lived here in Ohio but it was said that all of her family are buried in Woodbine GA and becasue she is now deseaced there is no way that I can aske her about the family. I do know that her mothers name was Laura and that she had a few siblings. Laura died in early 1970's I think and my grandmothers siblings lived all over the states. I believe her fathers name was Ray Larrison but not sure. When I do searches on these names I find them on the net but not sure about anything else. If you can help me please contact me at my email address and put in Larrison family as the subject because this isnt the only family that I'm searching. Thank you

Lairson,Larison,Larrison Research

Help! I am searchiing for ancestors. My g-Mother was Effie Ann Lairson. Her Fathers name Marcus,Mothers name Martha. I have found persons matching all criteria, time lines and important dates, to be my gg-parents. Except the the records have the last name spelled Larison. I believe somewhere down the line, as often seen, the letters were transposed, reasons unknown. My g-Mothers mother died and her father remarried, A lady named Sarah, thats the name everyone in the family recalls, last name not remembered. They then had 2 boys together. Again,I have found info that all the time lines and dates match all the criteria. Except this time the last name has again been spelled differently, "Larrison". I would love to hear from anyone with verifiable info on this family. The two half brothers of my g--Mother were called Marion and Jesse. A 2nd cousin, Grandma's Brother's boy said he remembers that he was told their names were Frances Marion and George. They must have called the 1st by his middle name and the 2nd one, I don't know why they called him Jesse. My g-Mother and G-Uncle lost track of their half Brothers and no one knows much about them. If anyone has info on this line of Marcus Larison & Sarah please contact me.Desperately seeking! Any help appreicated. "Sharon" McGlone
