I am looking for information on my paternail
grandfather's family. This is what I know so
far... Charles William Laske was born in the
Southern part of Germany and died in Duluth,Minn
he married Bertha Farnweldt who was born in the
Nothern part of Germany and died April 11,1911
in Chicago, Illionis. Their children were Arnold
Charles Laske born in Sette(not sure of that spelling)
Germany either April 22,1872 or Dec. 1, 1883
(I have information showing the two different dates)
he married Juila Dickson abt. 1910 in Miss. and died
Oct. 29,1950 in Jackson, Miss. Their second son
was Edward Laske born in Duluth, Minn June 10,1889 and married
Minnie Grace Huff and died Oct 28, 1953 in Honesdale, PA
(these are my great-grandparents). Their third child was
Bertha Laske born in Duluth and died Nov. 29,1945 in
Chicago, Ill. she was married to Robert Buckley.

From what my grandmother has told me we know that sometime
after coming to the US and the birth's of the children Bertha
went back to Germany and then came back to the US about the
start of WWI and settled in a different area unknown to me at
this time could be the Chicago area as that is where she died.

Anyone having any more information this part
of my family please let me know. Thank you
