I have looked through many family trees that include a Manoah Lasley, and all too often there is a mis-match and conflation of two different Manoah Lasley(s). This has become so common that "One World Tree" has accepted the error as "fact".

(1)Manoah Lasley : was (1743-1836) son of James and Mary Lasley of Louisa Va. He was a Methodist minister and moved to Greensburg Ky @1790. He married Mary Ann Wash.

(2) Manoah Lasley: (1797-1834)was the youngest son of John ( Manoah #1's brother)and Frances Bickley Lasley. He, too was born in Louisa Va., but married Maria Mitchie and moved to Kanawha county Va. (now West Va.) where he died in 1834.

There were several other Manoah's, who are not being confused in family trees. Some trees have Manoah (2) married to Mary Wash. Some have mixed the birth and death dates. The above information is the correct facts.
