Paul: Your letter re: Gazaway/Lasseter (did I spell it right?) caught my eye. I an investigating both lines but, most likely, there is no connection. My family connection is a Gazaway from Texas- my grandfather was born in Texas only to be orphaned at about age two. His Aunt-Sara Waterhouse/Mulkins adopted him. When her husband, John Wesley Mulkins, passed on she married a James Ruler Lassitor (spellings vary document to document). Just found your e-mail a curiosity. Sincerely, Donna Mulkins Clark
