I am searching for the ancestors of Daniel Lassiter of Richmond County, Rockingham, N. C. Daniel was my GGGrandfather. He was born March 27, 1828 and died October 28, 1897 and is buried at the old homeplace. He was in the Confederate Army, Company A, 13th N. C. Light Artillery. He married Sarah J. Lovin (b. Sept. 15, 1834 and d. Oct. 17, 1888) on November 20, 1852 and they had the following children:
