Hi Joel,
My ancestor Eusebius Hartmann was born 1832 in Faulbach, Germany. He had one sister Cordula. His parents were Johann Anton Hartmann and Elisabeth Stahl. Eusebius was the only son of Johann. Johann died when Eusebius was only 2 years old. However Johann did have one brother Franz Karl Hartmann who was supposely older than Johann. I have no dates on Franz but I know that Johann and Franz's parents were Peter Hartmann and Elisabeth Leyer. It is possible that your Barbara Hartmann's father was Franz Karl Hartmann. Peter Hartmann's father was Jakub Hartmann and Marguerite Hoerning. I hope that I was a help to you. Joe Hartmann

hi there,
i am very interested about valentine latin in bavaria. i descend from hartmanns in faulbach, germany. my great great grandfather eusebius hartmann was born in 29 jun 1833 in faulbach, germany. he was the son of johann anton hartmann who was born about 1801 and elizabeth stahl dateof birth is unknown. johann parents were peter hartmann and elizabeth leyer. peter's parents were jacob hartmann and elizabeth weisgerber. i estimate that peter hartmann was born about 1775 and jacob hartmann was born about the mid 1700's. the hartmann that married valentine is either jacob's daughter or sister. stay in touch. i have some information on the town faulbach, germany. my third cousin george hartmann visited it in the early 1960's. thanks joe hartmann

I have a Diana Lattin born 1799/died 1846 and married to an Adams in the genealogy written by Larry Lattin Smith. Her parents were Gideon Lattin and Hannah Harjab of Connectictut and she would be my 2nd cousin (5 times removed). I have lots on her ancestors if you are interested.

She was my aunt. My father was Paul who recently passed away in March of 2000. Her sister Barb is the only remaining sibling. Their parents came from Austria. I have a copy of my father's birth certificate with his parents names and country they were from and how old they were when he was born. I know very little about them. I didn't know Anna too well. I knew Frank, Helen, and Barb. I have a sister, Dot, and a brother, Paul Wesley. My sister and myself live in Pennsylvania. My brother is in the Air Force stationed in Florida. My mother is still living in Pennsylvania, also. I never knew how my dad's parents got here. I found this website by "playing" and I'm glad I did.
