CONWAY - Billy Arch Poole, 74, of Conway, formerly of Guy, Ark., went to be with his Lord on July 10,2008. Born in Guy, Ark., on Aug. 3, 1933, he was a son of the late Archie “A.E.” and Nevada (Rowlett) Poole. Billy was a veteran of United States Air Force having served in Ice Land, Germany, the United Kingdom, Guam andmany bases in the United States. He was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. and V.F.W. and a member of the Mars Hill Church of Christ. Billy was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved gardening, fishing, hunting.
Billy was preceded in death by his previously mentioned parents, two sisters, Betty Latture, Bonnie Presley; two brothers, Dalton Poole and Milton Poole. Survivors include his wife Bobetta (Bobbie) Henderson Poole; one daughter, Andrea Poole; four sons: Windell (Susie), Tim, Milton (Rachel), Marc (Karen); ex-daughter-in-law Corina Long; eleven grandchildren: Lucas, Joe, Corinda, Marie, Jason, Alex, Cheyene, Tristian, Talon, Breanna, Brittani; four great-grandchildren: Landon, Hollie, Alissa and Austin; three foster grandchildren: Travis, Nick and Mikey. Also surviving are a sister, Wilma Siebel, a brother, Damon Poole, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Interment will follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
