DNA Participants and Surname Origin, Pronouciation etc

Classification: Query
Surnames: Lobenstein, Lobenstine, Laubenstein, Laugenstine
I am trying to prove lineage with a Newton V. LAUBENSTINE and a John LAUBENSTINE who may be his son. This family used many spelling variations including in addition to the above, LAUBENSTEIN, LOBENSTEIN and LOBENSTINE.

Area of interest currently centers in Hunterdon Co., NJ and possibly Bucks Co., during PA 1800s.

Would also be interested in how those of you familiar with the name pronounce it. Looks like they came from Bavaria Germany.

Thanks for any help.
