Hello - Today I rescued a Lauer Family Bible from an antique store in Washington State. The family record is direct and goes back to abt 1876 as follows: Anthony was married to Ella Elizabeth Davis. His parents were Micheal and Ann K. Koetter Lauer (dates about 1876-1966.) Her parents were Robert and Cora Browning Davis. Anthony and Ella's children: Robert Eugene Davis (married Denis Hemphill), Marion Edward (married Ellen G.), Michale Francis, Donald Wayne, Edna Mae (married Warnock), Edith Carol (married Betz), Ronald Lauren. The area appears to be Ferdinand/Cottonwood/ Lewiston Idaho. It would be wonderful if this bible could be returned to a direct descendant! Please contact me at sug53@earthlink.net. Thanks, Sue
