      <description>Hello,&lt;br&gt;My paternal ggrandmother was Catherine Laumeister.  She lived in the Kensington Section of Philadelphia with her husband Charles Moser.       <description>Looking for data on Civil War veterans named Laumaster &lt;br&gt;who served with the 87th Pennsylvania Volunteer&lt;br&gt;Infantry. The unit mustered in York in September 1861.&lt;br&gt;I am writing a history of the regiment and am seeking&lt;br&gt;firsthand accounts by the veterans. I am also building&lt;br&gt;a database of personal data on each soldier and need&lt;br&gt;your help in that huge task.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;1) Laumaster, Charles Augustus "Gus", Cpl Co A; mustered Sept&lt;br&gt;11, 1861, as a volunteer; discharged April 1, 1865; born 1840&lt;br&gt;(probably February); died July 31, 1905; a moulder from York;&lt;br&gt;captured at the battle of Monocacy July 9, 1864; son of Charles&lt;br&gt; Eliza Laumaster; Daniel's brother&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;2) Laumaster, Daniel H., Pvt Co A; mustered Sept 11, 1861, as&lt;br&gt;a volunteer; discharged April 4, 1864, due to health to the&lt;br&gt;Veteran Reserve Corps; born Oct 22, 1831; died March 26, 1900;&lt;br&gt;from York; brother of Charles; buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery&lt;br&gt;in York, Pennsylvania</description>
