I am still searching for the birth location for Joseph Laundry.I have since found that Marie OLive Richard was the daughter of Charles Joseph Richard and Marie Louise Baril. Also that daughter Helen married Francoise Prince from Kingsey Falls Quebec.Any additional info is welcome.Thanks again Diane

David, thanks so much for your reply. I didn't realize that I hadn't thanked you properly or in a timely manner. Please accept my apology. I get so buried in all my research that it takes me awhile to find my way back to where I started.
I do appreciate all the information that you gave me. I have a question about the Baseball Teams for the Boston area of 1891. My Grandfather played in the early 1900's but there is an article Forteited the game in the Boston Globe 6-13-1891.They show a Federal st.11:Atlantic Av.,10. teams so I want to know would these be teams in the city of Boston.My interest is that these men where wool trade emplyees.Any ideas would be helpful, Thanks again Diane

I found a few marriages of their children in grafton.
Benjamin Laundry, age 37, born in Canada, married Lucy Benway on 26 Jun 1893 Grafton, MA.
Joseph A. Laundry, age 26, born in Canada, married Marie Louise Verry on 29 Oct 1894 Grafton, MA
Georgianna Laundry, age 18, born in Canada, married Alex Harper on 21 Nov 1883 Grafton, MA
Joseph William Laundry, age 20, born in Canada, married Sophia Platt on 18 Nov 1875 Grafton, MA

Looking fro Lionel Laundry Descendants

Looking for any information on Lionel Laundry, born about 1918. Had 2 children with Emily Deneault. Served in WW 2 and married a wonem from England, had at least 2 children named Jack and Lorraine. Lionel is said to have died in Campbell;s Bay Quebec sometime in the past 12 years. He had a brother Philip and other siblings.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There is a very large family with the surname of Laundry in Guyana. It is believed that the family were sugar cane planters or estate owners during the early 1800s and migrated from Barbados, West Indies during that time. My great grand father was Zeaharih Obadiah Laundry. My grand father was Stanley Hezekiah and my dad was Gerald Othley Mc Laren Laundry. Any help that you can provide in tracing the family to the Caribbean is appreciated.

My great aunt was Marie Chopp,who was born in 1898 in Wisconsin and married a JC Laundry. She died in 1925 during childbirth in Columbia,Minnesota. Does anyone have information on either person?

I am searching for info on the LOUNDREE familyI am a descendant of Joseph C LOUNDREE Jr, listed on the 1880 Polk CO.,WI census as LAUNDRY, and on the 1870 Census as LONDRE. Joseph Loundree Jr was born in 1870 (March or so). He moved to Oregon around 1901-1904. He is my Gt-Gt-Grandfather. 1870 census lists his mother as Lofitia, and sisters Elizabeth and Josophine. Elizabeth and Lofitia are not listed on 1880 census. Joseph Sr is from Canada. Joseph Sr remarried JC Peaslee in 1882. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am a descendant of Joseph LOUNDREE Jr, listed on the 1880 Polk CO. census as LAUNDRY, and on the 1870 Census as LONDRE. Joseph Loundree was born in 1870 (March or so). Hi I am also looking for Laundry's my husbands family desends from a joseph Laundrey or Laundry or laundree. He originally came from canada and was considered french canadian I believe. He married a Native american named sophia and they had 3 children. Elizabeth or Lizzie,Josophine and Joseph. Sorry I haven't replied, things have gotten a little hectic, I have been waiting to talk to my mom, because she gave me all the information I have and it seems to be the same as you have. She hasn't been home because my sister had surgery and she has been taking care of her. When I did speak to her the other night, she said she had to check and she got most of her information from the census records. Will keep checking and hopefully, I can get to her house soon to look over what she has, and will get back to you.

There were several children and I don't know who their descendents were, so it's possible that your grandfather came from this line. Do you know the names of his parents? Try looking under the name Landry. When the Landry family started coming to the US the name sounded like Laundry to the English. Landry is the correct last name. This may help. My gggrandmother went by the name Laundry but i found her in Coopersville, NY under Adelaide LANDRY.

My gggrandmother was Addie Laundry. She married Oliver Betters and was in the Mooers, NY area abt 1860. Her daughter Josephine was born there in 1858. she also had a son Frank born there in 1866 and another son Willie born in 1860. Can anyone help with her line ??
