I am trying to gather information on the LaValle family from the Cambridge Massachusetts area. My father's name was Ralph L LaValle. My mother was Eleanor M. LaValle. My family history was lost and I have been unable to piece together a family tree for my own family. I have no grandparent names. My father had 14 brothers and sisters. Any information and assistance you can give me, will be greatly appreciated.

99, of Cranston passed away on Monday December 17, 2007 at Cra – Mar, Meadows Nursing Home Cranston.
She was the wife of the late George I. Chase.
Born in Southbridge, Massachussetts, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Helen (Patenaude) Lavalle.
Mrs. Chase was a purchasing agent for Universal Optic for 25 years, retiring in 1979.
She was a member of the Knightsville Manor Association and the Cranston Senior Center.
She was the aunt of Anita Mathurin and her husband Louis of Shrewsbury, MA.
She was the grandmother of six and great-grandmother of six.
She was the mother of the late Bernice Reddy, and sister of the late Claire Lavalle, Rose Lavalle, Virginia DuPaul, Ida Michaud and Adelard Lavalle.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

My grandfather, Fredrick LaValle, and his wife, Ethel Hartwick LaValle, were born and married in Canada and came to the US to live in Newfield NJ. My grandfather's father was Michael LaValle and his mother was Catherine Dempsey. My grandmother's father was John Baptiste Hartwick and her mother was Emma Freeland. I'm trying to find information on my great-great-grandmother's (Catherine Rachel O'Donnell) first husband. It is believe that his name was Thomas Lavalle, they had one child around 1880 named Thomas C, before Lavalle died. Catherine then married a Quick and moved to Texas. I know I don't have that much information, but if anyone else does it would be greatly appreciated.

My grandfather was Placido D. La Valle, my grandmother - Cameron Woodward La Valle. They resided in New York and Tenafly NJ. until approx 1951 when they moved to Orlando FL. Looking for any info or connection to family of Joseph Laville, a carpenter who immigrated from France about 1842. Joseph was born abt. 1817. He married Julia Petra (unsure if her last name is correct) about 1849 in Ohio. Children: Edward, Mary Louise (Louisa), Henry, Joseph-Peter, Josephine, Julia, & Francis. Joseph died in Whitehall, Michigan in 1864.

Looking for the lineage of Francois Lavalle who married Emelie Boileau and had a daughter Marie Louise who married Jean-Baptiste Moncion on November 7th, 1854 - or around that time.

My husband is the Great Grandson of Honore Moncion who was the son of Jean-Baptiste Moncion and Marie Louise Lavalle.
