I am looking for a John Battles who posibly married a Lawson. He would have been born in the early 1800's. His children (that I know of) were George W., Nicey Elizabeth, John W., Sarah, and Mary L. I noticed you mentioned Battles in your heading. If you have information I would sure appreciate having it. I have hit a blank wall. His daughter, Nicey was my great grandmother. Thanks.
