Carl W. Laymon, 58, Died Dec. 31, 1992 at his home in Muscatine.
Services will be Monday Jan. 4, 1993 pallbearers will be Louis Shellady, Chuck Martin, Bruce Bean, Gean Marks, and Brian Steahr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Elmer Skidmore, Gib Skidmore, Charles Saultz and Rick Skidmore. Burial will be at the Island Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 20, 1934 at Tell, City, Ind., a son of Izaac D. and Bernice M. Northerner Laymon. He lived in
Muscatine most of his life. He married Agnes M. Skidmore on Jan. 18, 1957 in Muscatine.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, Dale A. Laymon Of Knoxville, Tenn., Carl W. Laymon Jr. of Muscatine, and Craig Laymon, by his first marriage, of Indianapolis, one daughter, Rose Marie Foster of Muscatine; three grandchildren, Angela DeAnne Laymon of Colorado,
Angela DiAnn Hall of Knoxville, Tenn., and Cerenna Lynn Lynn Laymon of Muscatine; two brothers, Russell Laymon of Muscatine; and Irwin Laymon of Lincoln, ILL., and one sister, Eleanor Campbell of Collinsville, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Note no relation I knew Carl real well we always had alot of laughs, one time when we were very young he put my coat on and I put his coat on and we walked down 2nd street in Muscatine and we all laughed so hard.
