Some basic info:

My grandfather, Oliver Clifton Leach was an employee of the Reading Railroad early in this century. He lived in Baltimore MD and moved to the Montgomery County area somewhere near the turn of the century.

My mother's name was Catherine McCoy Leach and was the youngest of six. She was a nurse in Norristown PA.

I am looking for information about Walter Leach, who was born in 1767 in Maryland or Virginia, and died in 1857 in Ohio. He married Charlotte Lynch in 1796. They had at least 3 children; Matilda, Nancy, and Elizabeth. Matilda married Jacob Metzger, Nancy married John Behymer, and Elizabeth married Samuel Behymer. Matilda was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia in 1806. They lived in Clermont County, Ohio. I would like to know about any other children, and also who Walter and Charlotte's parents are.

I'm looking for anyone researching my line to exchange info. I start with John Leach (1640 - 1699) and his wife, Alicia Ireland (1645 - aft 1699)who lived in Calvert Co., MD. They had 4 children: John, Jr.; Jeremiah; Ambrose; and James.

John, Jr. (Oct 1663 - Nov 1713) married Mary Elizabeth and had 6 children - lived in MD; Jeremiah (1665 - 1722) married Elizabeth and had 4 children - lived in MD; Ambrose (1668 - 1744) married Mary and had 4 children - also lived in MD; and nothing is known about James.

I descend from Ambrose and Mary, through their 4th child, William (1718 - 1781), who married Martha and had 5 children: John, William, Jr., Nancy, Rev. Thomas, and Martha. John's children moved to KY. William, Jr. moved to KY. Rev. Thomas moved to OH. Martha moved to KY.

The 3rd child of Ambrose & Mary was Ambrose, Jr., and his descendants moved to Marshall Co, WVA.

So, there are lines from MD to KY, MD to OH, and MD to WVA. If anyone else is working on any of the above, please contact me.

Thomas Leach; 1762; UK

I'm looking for information on Thomas Leach, born in Rochdale in 1762. He was a handloom weaver and a composer. He was killed in 1798 when a coach in which he was travelling overturned. He composed the hymn-tune, "Egypt."

I believe he is the same man my gg uncle refered to when he wrote: James (sic) Leach was the composer of Psalm Tunes, etc. He was killed in 1798 when thrown from the Leeds Mail Coach on its way from Rochdale to Manchester.

It appears that my mother's family (Crabtree/Hudson) may be related to Leach family through a Grindrod connection. All these families lived in the Rochdale area of Lancashire.

Really, really need to connect with any relative of the John & Marth (SCOTT)LEACH family who ended up in Washington state.
John was born in KY 1836, died Yakima Apr. 23, 1921, married Martha Ellen SCOTT b. 1844 MO, died Yakima Nov. 25, 1932.
In 1850 John was in MO, then CA, on to OR by 1880 census and by 1900 in Yakima.
All of the above names are surnames of John's children's spouses. Children:

Iva June LEACH, 8 months old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Charles LEACH, died at the family home in Canton at 10 o'clock Monday morning. The body was brought to the Cannon & Cannon Funeral home at Roseville. Tuesday afternoon, and it was removed to the home of Richard MARSHALL,
brother-in-law of the child's mother, of Roseville, early Wednesday morning.

Iva June LEACH is survived by three brothers and three sisters, all of the home. Funeral services

will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the MARSHALL residence, with Rev.

STEPHENSON in charge. Burial will be made in the Roseville Cemetery.

I know he worked at the old ellis ? electric company back then.

I also know he was married with children. He never married janet Mclafferty, I am guessing she was a fling of his.

But he has a son from this fling and Im just looking for information to add to the family tree. She also lived in south st. louis with her family and worked at the local corner grocery store. She has since passed on and the only name she gave to us was Leach of the last name, we know he was in the military and that he is buried at jefferson barracks cemetery. This is how i came up with the name of Harry B. Maybe he isnt at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery but at a cemetery around Belleville Illinois.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for my biological family on my Fathers side. My great grandmother, Sarah True, married a Leach (I do not know his first name) at the age of 18 and had one son, Earl Leach. The 1930 census shows her as divorced and living with her family and Earl (My Grandfather). She is from Joplin Mo. and Kansas City, the origin of birth for my Grandfathers biological father is Kansas. I know its a long shot but I would love to figure out just where we came from. Since my Grandfather was adopted after the 1930 census and spent the remainder of his life as Jack Edward Wurth, no one in our family even knew he wasn't a blood Wurth until my Grandmother passed away in 1999 and the family was left with a couple of baby pictures of him with the name Earl Leach on them. I've been searching ever since. I was tickled to find them on the census tonight and it encouraged me to post this here.

Amos Leach Vermont to Ohio

Amos Leach lived in Somers, New York with his father (Levi ), his mother, Sarah Noble, and his brothers Noble, Luman, Elihu, and Harvey and his sister Tryphena. He moved by oxen to Ohio in 1834 from Westchester Co, NY and introduced the first mower in Liberty Twp., Knox County, Ohio. Knox County history spelled name Leech.

At some point in time, he married Nancy Purdy and they had 9 children including Harvey (my great-great grandfather. ) Harvey's siblings were Ann Elizer, Margaret Ann, Dorothy Amanda, Anthony Purdy, Ephram, Charles Noble, Patty Jane, and Mary Zilla.

I am looking for more information about Amos , his brothers and sister, and parents. I would especially like to know the names of Levi's parents. If you can help me, I would really appreciate.

Joe Leach, whose home is near Stone Point, was painfully hurt here Tuesday morning near the residence of C. L. Hubbard while eneavoring to drive some cattle belonging to Mr. Hubbard to the Stone Point country. His horse became unmanageable and ran against a large tree causing painful wounds to be inflicted ove Mr. Leach's left eye and face.

Abraham LEACH, b 25 Dec 1829, Staten Island, Richmond Co. NY, was the son of Thomas LEACH and Priscilla ACKERMAN.

Jane M. (Jennie) TALLMAN, b 1836 NY, was the daughter of Abraham H. TALLMAN and Sally (Sarah) ACKERMAN.

Jennie Tallman married Martin Van Buren SANDFORD 24 Dec 1855 at the home of Abraham Leach in Brook Valley, Morris Co. NJ.

Abraham Tallman stated in an affidavit filed on behalf of Martin V.B. Sandford's Civil War Pension Application that he and Jennie were cousins. I'm hoping someone knows whether this relationship was through Priscilla and Sally. Sally Ackerman is listed in The Descendants of David Ackerman book, but I don't recall seeing a Priscilla Ackerman mentioned.—Sandy Brown

Lawrence Leach was born in 1589 and came to America in Higginson's Fleet in 1629 from Devonshire, England, with his wife Elizabeth and settled in Salem in 1830. Four of his sons were born in England. Hi! I am wondering if anyone has information on Robert Leach, son of Lawrence Leach of Salem, MA? I know he was born in England between 1605-1614, and that he came to Massachusetts with his parents. James Henry Eastman

From a book called Beaverlodge to the Rockies, (in alberta)there is a write up about a James Eastman, born in 1899 in Grenfell, Saskatchewan.

He joined the 1st Contingent Cyclist Machine Corps in 1914, served overseas and was awarded several medals.

In March 1919, he married a Dorothy Thomas in London, Eng.

They had 7 children, which are listed in this book. James died in 1964 and Dorothy moved to Victoria, BC.

Now, if he was born in 1899, he was rather young to join the military in 1914. I found an enlistment paper for a James Henry Eastman, born Mar. 20, 1896 in Fort William, Ont. He does join the 1st Cycle Corps.

He lists Mrs. E. Eastman as his next of kin and she lives in Battle Lake, Alberta in 1914

I have searched long and hard for a birth record in Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Also, I cannot find him on the 1901 or 1911 Cdn census.

Who is he?

If he is a Canadian Eastman, he should be related to me somehow, but I cannot complete this puzzle without some help please.

We are looking for Joseph Leach and Rachel Cline both born in Illinois about 1805+/- 5 .
Joseph is found in Wayne County Missouri , through a land purchase in 1827.
Joseph and Rachel's first child was Polly, born abt. 1834 in Wayne Co. Missouri. Second child, Henry Noah Jackson Leach was born 1836 and is laid to rest at New Prospect Cemetery , Wayne Co., Missouri.
We believe Joseph is found on the 1850, Wayne Co., Missouri census but the enumerator listed him as Joel Leets and a neighbor of Jonathan Dees.
Joseph and Rachel are absent from the Wayne Co. 1860 census, and their minor children, William and Rachel, are enumerated in the Jonathan and Mary Dees household.
Any information is greatly appreciated.

Recently purchased a stack of photos with the name of leach on many of them: Sarah Louise, Grace (1922 St Joe Mo?), willie orville, William Acey, Ethel 1928, Mary Klinger Henry age 90, Mary, Cora, Grace, Edna, and Anna when small, the leach boys featuring william and his brothers

a lot of these also have the name Marion, Citte Wiley these will be posted on the citte board as well

Looking for information about this couple. They married in Wallingford, Berkshire in 1813/1814. George was born in Windsor, Berkshire in 1792/1793, parents unknown; and Mary in Wallingford, Berkshire 1790/1791 to John LOVELOCK & Mary WHITWICK. George was a Millwright. Mary died 1856 St George Hanover Square, George died 1866 Wokingham, Berkshire. Found them in 1841 and 1851 census. Can't find him in 1861!

Flora Leach was my great-great grandmother. She married James Hinton from Johnston County in the early 1900's. They had eight children: Mary Hinton Crowder; Mazie Hinton Jones (my grandmother); James "Buddy" Hinton; Johnny Hinton; Leroy Hinton; Elnora Hinton Bridges Turner; Maryland Hinton; and Herman Lewis Hinton. Flora was an extremely attractive, fair complexioned woman with hazel eyes. Rumor has it that she was of Native American descent (Cherokee). She died in May, 1942 in North Carolina.

Looking mainly for info on Jessie May Leach,born in 1889 and died in Los Angeles 1959. She married into my family in 1930 and was buried as Jessie M Castillo.

Note:- Aldsworth is 6 mls south west of Burford, on the B4425 to Cirencester.
The river LEACH is within 2 mls of the village. To the north west of Aldsworth, some 5mls away lies Northleach, thru which the A40 runs east to Burford. Along the north of this road, only a mile or so away, are the villages of - Turk Dean, Farmington, Sherbourne, Barrington; just to the south lies Eastington, i.e. ALL the birth places listed above. A little further north, to the west and northwest of Bourton-on the Water, lies Notgrove (A436), and Condicote (B4077), Geo Leach's birthplace in 1860.

On Lydia's Marriage record in Aldsworth Parish Register - copy of Pg1 (file), the actual spelling of surname is difficult to determine. At Newport Ref Library on 1/4/98 found an entry for births:-

2/ Census 1891had George Leach 'where born' as Coundy Cott; seems to be phonetical spelling of Condicote by enumerator - wasted many hours!

Action - We needed to build up Richard & Lucy's total family. Visited Glos Records Office Thurs 23/4/98 to check forward and back from Geo's birth date.

George Leach Copy of Death Cert. 7th Jan 1946, gives age as 85yrs, confirms C E Leach, son "Present at the death" in 15, Almshouses, Monmouth. Son's address: Bro-a-bryn, Caewent Brook, Caldicot i.e. Charlie Leach.
Using this info to establish birth details, would be born 1860/1 dependant on exact age. Search of 'Deaths by Qtr' at N'port Ref Library, for George born Glos raised only one - Sept Qtr 1860 George Stow on Wold 6a 323.

To estimate exact position geographically where they lived - Christ Church is entry No. 15, The New Inn is entry No.44 and Geo & Family entered at No. 66.
Have photo of cottage at Hillersland, but could not locate on visit made in'96.
Geo & Rose lived at Drybridge St., Monmouth for many years, then later -
Note: Rose Ann Leach died 22nd Sept. 1949, some 3yrs 8mths later, having continued to live at 15, Almshouses, Monmouth.
Nanette says her father Charlie, (Charles Edward) told how his father walked from English Bicknor, down thru' the Forest to Monmouth to meet Rose. On one such walk he fell over a drunk dead in the woods !

Fanny birth place shown as - Hadnock, parish, (Dixton village) in 1871Census, however the actual entry was written first as "Glos, English Bicknor", but this was crossed thru' and replaced by "ditto" marks refering to older brothers entry shown as Dixton, Mon. Note also her 2 younger brothers Jn & Wm are shown under "Glos, English Bicknor".

On 1881Census, Fanny is 18, domestic servant of Nathaniel Dead, census incorrectly gives her b. Avening, near Minchinghampton the census place.
On 1891Census, Fanny wife of George L is aged 27 & this ties with aged 8 in 1871 & 18 in 1881census, given month of birth & three Census dates.

"The Haines trek around Gloucestershire, says much for the life of an Ag Lab family between 1840 and 1890. The various members of the family and their places of birth tell it all when studying a local map. Geo was b. Hewelsfield, less than 15 mls from Cam, the other side of the Severn, from where Eliza his wife came. The first daughter was b. Painswick, 10 mls to the northeast and this was a settled period, confirmed by the first sons b. Brookthorpe, some 4 mls to the north. However the next 6 years or so witnessed a major move of some 20mls to Dixton, Monmouth where George Jnr and his younger sister Fanny were born. In 1866 the family were on the move again, this time re-tracing their steps to English Bicknor in the Forest of Dean, where in the 1881census the two youngest children were born - twins, and before 15yrs of age, were both coal miners. At this time, when Fanny was 18yrs old, she's back to 6mls from her mother's birthplace, at Minchinghampton, as a domestic servant to one Nathaniel Dead - but good things never last.

At around 20 yrs of age Fanny was to meet and marry George Leach and their first child named Florence Nellan Leach was b. Feb 9th 1884, at Hillersland, English Bicknor. Another child, my grandfather - Ernest George Leach, was born there on Jan 16th 1886. He became a Forest miner and later joined his older sister in Six Bells, as a boarder in 3 Lancaster St, with her and her husband Henry Carpenter, formerly of Berry Hill in the Forest. Ernie Leach worked as a miner in John Lancaster's colliery at Six Bells; courted and married Bertha Leach (nee' Jones) of "Leach's Shop, Bridge St." and eventually became a Monmouthshire County Councillor, helping many people during difficult times - a situation he and his family had faced themselves.

What happened to Fanny Leach (nee' Haines), she bore 11 children, the last 3 days before Xmas in Dec. 1901, she died aged only 40yrs in Mar 1903 (Coroner - Heart disease), after 20yrs of married life. Had she lived to enjoy being a grandparent, she would have been very proud of her progeny.

George Leach re-married Rose and they lived in Drybridge St., and later the Almshouses, Monmouth. Rose reared all the children, their families are widespread - that's another story."

Marriage date shown for Geo & Fanny May 1883. 1st child's d.o.b. Feb 9th 1884 - Florence Nellie Leach - Florence married Henry Carpenter and was Norman Carpenters mother.
Sheila, Normans wife and their only son Philip & family are all still alive in 1998 and living in Oak St., Abertillery.

Believe Rendel married a Pam ? and has a daughter Jennifer Davies.

Marriage Notes for GEORGE LEACH and FANNY HAINES:
Living in English Bicknor, West Dean and Berry Hill - all in the Forest of Dean they raised a large family. However Fanny died, possibly during childbirth in 1903 and George re-married Rose, who 'raised' all the children, having none of their own. (See Rose's own spouse of Geo note sheet).

Married TWICE before marrying George, both husbands died - unlucky ?.

Nanette remembers seeing at Drybridge St., Monmouth, the previous 2 husbands framed 'memorials' hanging above Geo & Rose's marriage bed.
She also mentioned that Rose rolled £ notes and placed in chest of drawers, but after her death - no money could be found ! (Death Cert stated Mr. Brookes was the informant from nearby Monnow St.; relative ?

Notes for ERNEST GEORGE LEACH:
Ernest George Leach was baptised at English Bicknor parish church, recorded on P.166 21/2/1886, son of George Leach & Fanny Haines, Eastbach. His father was an Ag Lab.

Coal miner in Forest of Dean, prior to move to sister's house @ Six Bells to work at the John Lancaster pit. House was at 3 Lancaster St., above colliery and his sister Florence (eldest child of George Leach) was married to Henry Carpenter. He was married to Bertha Jones from there on November 8, 1913.

Cyril Jones of Argoed wrote to me (Hugh) in Feb 1995 saying:-
"His first visit to Six Bells was on my grandfathers (Ern Leach) Lee-Enfield motor cycle combination, aro' 1923 when Cyril was 8 yrs of age."

"Uncle Ern could be quite stern, but he had a great sense of fun, I have a photograph of him and aunt Bertha with Sylvia when she was three. He was probably in his early twenties and quite smart. He always kept a 2 gallon cask of cider and your mum and I were allowed a small glass each before bed-time. In later years he looked almost like an aristocrat and was quite distinguished looking."

Cyril added "One thing about 6, Bridge St., that always intrigued was the tuneful glasses suspended near the entrance to the shop."

Ernest later became a Local and then Monmouthshire County councillor.
After our daughter Crian married in July'99, we visited Nanette (nee' Leach) & Colin, and after lunch they showed us around the Caldicot area and Nanette happened to say that my grandfather Ernest Geo LEACH, worked very hard to establish land in this area, for unemployed persons from depressed areas, to grow crops and support their families. (Details are in a separate report in Word File "Leechpool Farm", Portskewett.).

Notes for BERTHA JONES:
Bertha was my gran or nana as I called her (i.e. Hugh Williams - family tree author), Sylvia Leach was her daughter, my mother. Her mother (Blanche Ann Edwards) died not long after she was born and she was taken at first to Argoed to be nursed before returning to her family at St. Illtyds. Thus arose the close affinity all her life with John Jones her fathers step brothers i.e. Dai, Joe & Gomer Jones - who visited her often at Six Bells.

Bertha married Ernest Leach from whom I get my middle name. They lived at 4, Llwynon Rd Six Bells, before moving to the then 'main road' 6, Bridge St. where they had a shop selling general goods and green grocery. She died here at age 79 yrs, having been nursed by my mother Sylvia after enduring years of suffering from cancer.

She went into service as a young girl and we have a photo of her marked "with Cook at Penarth". She dressed very smartly always and knew how to lay a table for a formal occasion and did embroidery etc.

She worked in 'the shop' most of her married life - in the early days she skinned & 'dressed' rabbits, for sale and own use, made elderberry wine and was a great cook. In my young school days, Nana was the one who got my meals and generally looked after me. Then also, she would take me on trips, maybe around the Wye valley on a GWR banana shape diesel coach, or even across the Bristol Channel on a White Funnel Fleet paddle steamer to Weston-Super-Mare to visit her friend Mrs. Skidmore, known as 'choker chicken' because of her voice! These trips were some of the happiest childhood memories I have, we were very 'close' and she was often a confidant when I argued with my parents.

In her 50/60's with friends like Mr. & Mrs. Curtis (he was Shedmaster @ Aberbeeg), they and others travelled on holidays to Interlaken in Switzerland.
Have numerous photo's of her throughout her life, also on the video of our original wedding film.

She RIP's @ Brynithel Cemetery with her husband and relatives.

Cyril Jones of Argoed wrote me in Feb 1995, saying of her:-
"Until I read the family records I didn't realise that aunt Bertha was my cousin and fathers niece. Aunt Bertha was fond of my father and I believe my mother was a bit jealous of her affection for him. So she told during one visit to Bridge St. She was quite a character and could be forthright in expressing her views."

Ernie was still living at 3, Lancaster St., Six Bells, whilst Bertha Jones was at 45, High St., Six Bells.

Edith had a daughter Dorothy & sons.

Both Nell and Horace were married previously. By her first marriage Nell had a daughter named Ruardine, who later married Desmond, the former husband of Mildred, the offspring of one of Horace's sisters. (which ? Nanette says Fanny, who was 4 yrs older than Horace) Leach would remain childs name.

Need Nell's former married name, to correctly enter people.

In Dec. 1995, Nan writes that "Huw is back living with Nel - has a job at Cardiff Docks - hated it at Southampton".

Notes for CHARLES EDWARD LEACH:
My (Hugh) Uncle Charlie lived at Bron-o-Bryn, Caldicot and supplied Sylvia Leach (my mother) with fresh produce (vegetables) throughout the war. We drove in a little Austin 10 car from Leach's Shop @ Six Bells to him, often in complete "blackout" conditions where no lights were allowed, in case the enemy were to see them.

We have a photograph of Uncle C. in WW1 on a camel, somewhere in Egypt I believe.

Robert his son became a Policeman, is married with children, living in Bristol.

Nanette his daughter is a major 'contributor' to the Leach family history and she has contacted but not met "Mary Leach", believed a granddaughter of Samuel Leach, who ran one of the three Leach, Confectionery shops in Gloucester.

I have a 1967 Kelly's for Glos city and in it on page 591, the shops listed under Confectioners are:-
"Leach & Sons, 80 Barton st., 43 Eastgate st., and 63 Southgate st." (Its odd that my mother Sylvia Williams nee' Leach, ran Ernest Leach's shop in Six Bells, Abertillery, Mon from 15yrs of age until aged 61; did they know of other Leach shopkeepers?).

Little Agnes' certified cause of death was Bronchio Pneumonia, father George present at the death in Hillersland.

Fanny her mother, had a total of 11 surviving children, in 20 yrs of married life and she died aged 40 on March 1903, 1yr 3mths after having Agnes her last child. She would have been very proud of the progeny that were to follow!

Entry for Samuel taken from IGI for Glos:- Leech, Samuel son Richard Leech & Lucy Beckley, bap - 20th Nov'1870 in parish of Notgrove (IGI ref: Pg 14/304).
Samuel was 10 yrs younger than George Leach b.1860, my great-grandfather.
Details of Samuels family came from his granddaughter Mary Leach of Glos. I sent her a Leach family pack and on Thurs. 11th June '98, she rang me to say she had received it and we spoke of her grandfather and family.

"Samuel Leach - had a sister called Annie (b.1862) who married a Mr. Jackson. In 1903 Samuel was on the railway and lost a leg at Derby. He left railway and started a shop in Gloucester; at one time they had 6 shops, but after the 1939/45 War, these were reduced to 3, her father Charles Samuel was at 80, Barton st.; Mary at 43 Eastgate and Albert (her fathers brother) was at 63 Southgate, these were the shops Nanette recalled from her college days.
Mary supplied her grandparents birth dates and the names of his 2 brothers, Albert & Victor and Charles' sister Elizabeth (called Cissie) who's married name was Tranter and they lived in Bath, where I believe Frances Jane Amphlett, (Mary's mother) died.
From the Leach names and addresses I supplied (from Kelly's Directory), Mary confirmed that -
Albert Leach & family lived at 8, Tuffley cres, Glos; had 3 sons all alive?
Victor Leach & family lived at 81, Denmark rd, Glos."
Mary's brother David Charles Leach, is 10 yrs younger than her; is married, has no children, and is now retired and lives at Stinchcombe, Dursley.
The information "missing" to compile a larger tree is:- What was Samuel Leach b.1870 wife's name, birth, marriage, death dates etc. Where was wife born, parents names etc.? David says Sam's 2nd Wife nee' Romans.
Any missing info re- your aunts and uncles, wives/husbands names, dates?
What was Mr. Jacksons Christian name/approx birth date etc.?
This info will increase your family tree similar to Nanettes or Sylvia's (my mums - Hugh), included as an example.

George Leach, my great grandfather was born in Condicote in 1860 whilst his younger brother Samuel was born 10yrs later at Notgrove. Measured on a map "as the crow flies", the distance between these villages is less than 6 miles; Stow-onthe-Wold lies to the east of Condicote, Bourton on the Water to the east of Notgrove.
What you cannot find, we or you could get at Glos Record Office, from the various Parish registers, its interesting to do and staff are helpful.

Note:- Aldsworth is 6 mls south west of Burford, on the B4425 to Cirencester.
The river LEACH is within 2 mls of the village. To the north west of Aldsworth, some 5mls away lies Northleach, thru which the A40 runs east to Burford. Along the north of this road, only a mile or so away, are the villages of - Turk Dean, Farmington, Sherbourne, Barrington; just to the south lies Eastington, i.e. ALL the birth places listed above. A little further north, to the west and northwest of Bourton-on the Water, lies Notgrove (A436), and Condicote (B4077), Geo Leach's birthplace in 1860.

Notes for LYDIA PEACEY:
On Lydia's Marriage record in Aldsworth Parish Register - copy of Pg1 (file), the actual spelling of surname is difficult to determine. In fact it appears 3 times on the page, twice on their entry (difficult to decipher), but also once as a witness for the first marriage dated 27th October 1814 'Wm Peacey', perhaps her father or brother?

Note:- Richard Leach appears as a witness to 2nd marriage on page 'Hall'.
George Leach appears as a witness to Richard Leach's entry - he is not brother George b.1836 after marriage; could be Father, cousin or uncle ?
