Edward and George Leanna were brothers, married Bruns sisters. Their father was George Leanna B:1866 in WI, mother Mary Olive Laundree B:1867 in WI. Believe George's father may have been Carl or Cavil Leanna B:1815 in Canada, mother Julia B:1825 in New York State but also from French Canadian.

George b: 1886 (wife Ellen), William b: 1888 (Alma Laundree), Hubert b: 1890 (Martha Depeal), Edward b: 1892 (Eilene), Louise b: 1894 (Adolph Turcotte). We descended from George to William to Robert. Looking for parents of George.

Am looking for Edward and George Leanna, I believe them to be cousins because the census shows that their parents were born in different states. they married sisters Ellen and Eileen Bruns (Burns) from Illinois. They settled in Delta Co. Michigan. I am looking to gather any information on the wives, or grandparents of these men.

I am looking for any information on a Jennie Leanna. She was born Aug 28, 1874. To a Luis Leanna not sure what her mothers name was. She Married a Charles Zick Aug 12, 1901. She died May 25, 1963. If anyone has info on her please help.

What information do you need yet? Do you have all on Guilluame Chartier down to Francois Chartier? Vernon Chartier has given me some information on that. Are you looking for info on Silas Carter? I have that information. Let me know what you need yet. I have some on the Leanna's already.

Hi, Roxanne. I was told that your mother in law might have information on the Chartier family - specifically descendents of Frank b.3/21/1844 and Louisa "Vallin"Carter. I also have listed a Mrs. James or JAS Leanna of De Pere as the informant on Louisa Carter's death Certificate on 6/30/1931. Our families must be related or very close. Please let her know that I have information on Frank's son Silas's family.

I have a Mrs. James (JAS?) Leanna De Pere listed as the informant on the death certificate of Emma Carter on 6/30/1931. I am thinking that they must have been related. Perhaps a daughter married a Leanna of De Pere. I have also been told that a member of the Leanna family in Kenosha has information on the Carter family line. There may be a connection. My great great great grandfather was Louis Leanna. He married but I am not sure what her name was. They had a daughter. Name Jennie Leanna. She married a Charles Zick. They Lived in Beloit Wisconsin. She was born 12-18-1874 she died 5-25-1963. But other than that I don't know much else.

My great great grandmother's name was Jennie Leanna. She was born in Green Bay. She was born December 18, 1874. Her Father's name was Louis Leanna. She married a Charles Zick. But other than that I don't know much else. On the Leanna's. It is a hard name to find.

I am looking for possible relatives of Maggie Leanna. This was my grandmother who died around 1909 of TB around age 28. She was married to Arnold Geurts, and they lived in De Pere, Wisconsin. My grandmother was Agnes May Leanna. Her father was Edward A. Leanna Jr. B11/20/1877, his father was Edward "Pete" Leanna Sr. His father was Antoine Lyonnais. The Lyonnais line goes back to Lyonne France. Is this the same line you are working on?????

My Husband David Paul Leanna is from Kenosha and his Parents currently are in Kenosha,his Grandmother is in
GreenBay.
We are in Cameron Louisiana,Down here everyone spells it like LeAnna.
Also his Mother is Looking into the Leanna Name and I have even found some Leannah's in Wisconson as well.
One with my husbands same exact Name
and he was born 40 miles away and a year before my david's almost to the month day.

Hi Dan, would you happen to know of Joseph Leanna?One of them was married to a woman name of Martha.Joseph was in the civil war. On the pension index it has Martha listed. I found him owning land in Polk and Sawyer Co in Wisconsin. I also found a Joseph Leanna on the 1900 Census for Washburn Co Wi listed as a nephew to my Grgrandfather Elijah Lowe. It has him being b. 1875 Wi Father b.Wi mother b.in Michigan. Please let me know if you know who Joseph and Martha Leanna were. Thank You. Patty
