Hi, my name is Lisa Waite I am 35 and from Newcastle upon Tyne. My grandmother was Jessie Pettie Learmonth 1924_2007 and my great-grandfather was Adam Learmonth 1885-1957, I think he could have been born in Portobello and he married Sarah Waugh 1890-1963 from Cockermouth. I am also trying to trace further back but there are so many Learmonths with the same first names that i am getting nowhere fast. Could you possibly help me?
