Thank you for posting your data. It will be helpful in filling in another branch of the tree. I see you are a decendant from Emilie and Benoni's son Charles. I am a decendant of Emilie and Benoni's son Arsene, brother to your Charles. Arsene is one of the five children of Emilie and Benoni not shown in your Family Harvest.

My exact line to Benoni:

Donald LeBlanc-6,(Charles Edward LeBlanc-5,Charles Bernard LeBlanc-4,Benjamin LeBlanc-3, Arsene LeBlanc-2, Benoni LeBlanc-1). Of course, the line continues upward with Benoni, Benoni, Claude, Rene, Jacques, and Daniel.

Contact me if you would like more information on the Arsene branch.

Also...does anyone have any source for the death date of August 24,163 for Claude LeBlanc, and where he died?
I didn't know if "Benoni" was a spelling mistake or that was his actual name..Benoni m. M. Marie Josephe Bourg daughter of Ambroise and Anne Breau about 1772. I don't know how many children they had or their names.

We may have communicated before. My ancestor was Gilbert LeBlanc married to Luce Aucoin. I didn't know the other members of his family - descended from Belone - and now you have provided that.
Thank you so much!
Do you know what Beloni's father's name was. I have a source that says it was "Benoni" and I wondered if this was a spelling error.
update on Bernard LeBlanc

I have found further information regarding Bernard LeBlanc. His nickname was "Bud". He was born in 1930 and is one of seven children - Bernard, Denis,Roger, Norm, Gertrude, and George. the 7th name was not legible in a letter(is belieded to be Gordon M. LeBlanc Sr.). He was in the Air Force and attended a course in Uplands in 1954. Had just returned August 23, 1954 to reply to a letter from Donna Elliott. He was 24 at this time so was either born in 1930 or 1929. In a funeral home notice it was brought to my attention that Bernard was still alive in 2007 as was Gertrude. (There was another Bernard Lelanc that passed away in 92) I have since accumulated much information but still cannot locate Bernard LeBlanc or Gertrude.

I have posted this in the Marcotte messageboard also. I am looking for parents of Joseph Marcotte and Marie-Claire LeBlanc. Their daughter Hortense married Noe/Noah Desjardins on 8 Jan 1866 at St. Augustin, Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. I have no dates for Joseph and Marie Claire but Hortense was born on 13 May 1836 St.Scholastique, Quebec, Canada and died 1881 in St. Monique, Quebec, Canada. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Bonnie St.Onge

Minnie Spearing LeBlanc - adopted Lowell MA

Seeking information on Minnie Odile Spearing aka as Minnie Odile Blanche LeBlanc of Lowell, Mass who was adopted. by Alfred LeBlanc and his wife, Mary in 1885. The LeBlancs also adopted another teenage girl by the name of Maud. Records of Minnie’s adoption show on Massachusetts records. That record provides the full name of Minnie . As of now, I’ve found no adoption information for Maud. On the 1900 census for Lowell, Mass. both girls are in the home of Alfred LeBlanc but they are not there in 1880 or 1910. In 1900, Minnie is reported to be age 17 and Maud is listed as 19 years of age.
Any help on either of these girls will be appreciated.
Thank you very much Paul. This is my grandmother's Dad and we know almost nothing about him. I have the baptismal records from the church in Washington, La for my grandmother. I will look at it again to see if I can find any new information. If I do I will post it here.

Charles

I also am descended from Bélone LeBlanc of Margaree, NS - through his son Bélone/Benoni who married Emelie Chiasson.

My "Family Harvest" website on RootsWeb has more about my lineage. The link to my connection is: http://tinyurl.com/oadygu

The site needs updating, but Life events have hindered keeping the information current.
I am the daughter of Hugh Anthony LeBlanc. He is Eddie Martin LeBlanc, Jr.'s brother (which makes him Eddie Martin LeBlanc, Sr.'s son-hee hee.) I am Little Eddie's cousin. Aunt Gert is my aunt. I am supposing that you will be at Uncle Eddie's funeral and we can meet up there. Judith, you were older than us but I do remember your name. My name was Mary Lea LeBlanc before I got married. They called me "Lea".
If you want more information, just let me know.
