I am looking for info on my great-grandfather and great-grandmother.

Mathew Leckie was born somwhere in Scotland in 1855 and died i Indiana in 1932.

His wife, Mae Kyle Leckie was born in 1854 in Scotland also and died in Indiana in 1921.

Mathew had a sister Margaret Byrne who lived at some time in Akron,Ohio. There also was a son Billy McGee of Akron, Ohio who could be a son of Mary McGee who could be the daughter of Margaret Byrne.

Mathew and Mae had 9 children: Kate, Matt, Marian, Myrn, Bill, Jim, Annie, Maggie , and Lizy.

All but the last three daughters were born in Scotland. I do not know where.

The Leckie's settled first in Pennsylvania and then lived in Linton, Indiana for 30 years.

I am going to try to obtain their birth certificates, I only wish I knew where in Scotland they were born or married.
