Ledford, Mr. Clifford Arthur
BOILINGS SPRINGS - Mr. Clifford Arthur Ledford, 66, of 131 Green Ave., died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Cleveland County, son to the late Melvin and Dorcas Horn Ledford. He was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church and owned Ledford's Heating and Air Conditioning Company. He was an avid fisherman and liked working on computers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Ledford, and his mother-in-law, Hannah Deaton.
Mr. Ledford is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Linda Deaton Ledford of the home; three sons, Ricky Ledford of Bloomingdale, Ga., Doug Ledford and his wife, Sherrie, of Boiling SPRINGS, and Chris Ledford and his wife, Nikki, of Boiling Springs; two daughters, Judy Hanson of Shelby and Sonja Griffin of Boiling Springs; two brothers, Andrew Ledford and his wife, Irene, of Boiling SPRINGS and Jimmy Ledford and his wife, Christine, of Shelby; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, James Henderson.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Monday, July 14, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Funeral: Tuesday, July 15, at 3 p.m. at Flint Hill Baptist Church; the body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service.
Burial: Cleveland Memorial Park
