MICHAEL ALLEN LEDFORD SR

Michael Allen LEDFORD Sr., age 47 of Pine Root Branch Rd, Bakersville, NC, passed away June 12, 2009 at his home. He was employed with Mitchell County, NC in Recycling.

Survivors include; wife, Mildred (Jean) LEDFORD, of the home, father, George LEDFORD, of Bakersville, NC, stepfather, Ronald Tickle, of Myrtle Beach, SC, one daughter, Jessica LEDFORD, of Bakersville, NC, two sons, Michael Allen LEDFORD Jr, and wife Misty, of Gray, TN, and Mark Christopher LEDFORD, and wife Kendra, of Bakersville, NC, two sisters, Betty Jean Hughes, of Spring Grove, PA, and Christine Fillmore, of Dover, PA, two grandchildren, Christian Harrell, and Mekhi LEDFORD.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Caudill LEDFORD.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 14 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Ron Fender and Scotty Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at LEDFORD Cemetery.
