Andrew J. Ledger (Leger) was born in Alabama or Ga 1843. Nothing is known about this man or where he came from. I have found many St. Ledger's out SC early 1800's who moved to the AL Ga area. Samuel S. Ledger (Leger) was in the Civil war and I have found the family with a child Dorian (Dori Ann) 1860, who later appears in Sumter Co. Ga along with Martha Ledgard living in the Howell household. I have searched most of AL and Ga 1850 - 1860 w/o results. Any information would be most appreciated. Any Ledger (Leger) name in the area I will research. Have to find the ggggrandfather and after 7 years of search, HELP Please.
