I'm looking on any infomation on my gg grandmother Lavina Lafever. She was born March 24, 1831 in Ohio, Knox County. I dont have much info on her parents, her fathers name is Charles, no info on her mother. The 1880 Census says that both of her parents were born in Ohio. The 1900 Census says that they were born in Virginia.

In 1847, she married John Simkins and they had one child, named Washington. She then married George A. Thiel in 1853 and they had 8 Children, Lydia, Mary, John, George, Thressa, Gracie, Emery & Henry.

Lavina Died June 3,1907 & is buried in Hope Cemetery, Iowa.
