Suffolk county is correct. 1930 is the date between her two dauthers.
Any help you need, we do have connections and family members in Massachusets still and we may be able to help.

How strange. an dshocking to me. I have a thought that it may have been one of her sisters (unmarried, or unstable) that had the baby and put her name on the birth certificate. It's just so difiicult to think withthe fact that she would have given up a child.. she was catholic,
but the items that you are finding out are of great interest. And perhaps we are relatives, which would bring me joy.

But the mystery of why she would give up a child for adoption does not fit with the grandmother I knew so well.

Again, I do have family members who have access in Massachusets, so let me know if you need help and keep digging.

you can email me directly at Appledore2@aol.com
