Looking for information on Elaine Hattie Leighton, born 1914 in Copper Mountain, British Columbia to Edwin Paul Leighton and Jessie Jennings Leighton (later Mely). Family lived in the Spokane and Colville areas of northeastern Washington. Elaine was around Spokane, WA at the start of WWII. Elaine was named as Elaine Wheeler in her mother's obituary in 1940. Elaine had brothers Ned, Richard (died young), Chad, and Louis. No one in the family knows what became of Elaine. Any information would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
