Searching for the family of Katherine Keir married Henry Templeton. According to 1850 Fed. Census of Lawrence Ind. Katherine b. ca. 1780 Pa. and Henry b. ca. 1778/79 Md. Both lived in Kentucky, and died Lawrence Co. Ind.
Any help would be appreciated. thank you anita

I suspect you are one of the Canadian Leirs. I think I can supply an address of indeed an e mail address.
The UK family from which the 20th century Canadian area eminates from is under research, but much has been done back to the early 17th Century.

Survived by sister, Bernie (late Steve) Roncsak of Crown Point; nieces and nephews; many great-nieces; great nephews; and dear friend, Monica Witecki of Portage. Preceded in death by husband, George Leir and sister, Josephine Kolakowski. Mrs. Leir was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and Rosary Sodality. She was a retired secretary from Sheet & Tin Mill, U.S. Steel. Friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 East Franciscan Drive (on State Road 55 south of State Road 231), Crown Point, Thursday from 2 - 6 p.m. with a prayer service at 3 p.m. Funeral services will be at 9:10 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2004 from Pruzin & Little Chapel and at 10 a.m. from SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. Dennis Teles officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.

hi my name is daun chantele leir. i dont really know anyone in my family on the LEIR side of my family and i would appreciate any connections or leads from anyone. i am a beginner at this and dont really know which avenues to take first. my line (as i know) goes like this: gparents: joseph leir (b. ?NY) marr. shirley ?
