I am looking into the history of the small town I grew up in, by the name of Leitchville, supposedly named after Duncan LEITCH who ran Gannawarra Station. It is unclear from the small amount of information I've been able to find whether the town was named in 1888, or (the more likely) that Duncan died in 1888. The statement was a bit ambiguous...

Being Easter and all, I'm yet to look up the BDM records, but will post again when I have.
