The Lemyng DNA project has indicated a willingness to accept variations of the surname to join their group. We would like to have several volunteers from as many variations as possible. I would like to invite all variations of the surnames Lenning, Lanning, Linning, Lennin, Lenon, Leaning, Tinning, Lening, Leming, Lemming, Leving, Limming to join. We have tested 2 Lenning's who match the Lemyng group better than they match each other through ancestry.com. I know that it's a little expensive but I really think this is going to be answer to where our ancestors originated and how all the surnames are connected. There are too many coincidences within our family stories for their not to be some relationship between Lenning, Lanning and Lemming for their not to be some connection.
