Lent family Newburgh NY 1920s
I recently found the census listing for my paternal grandmother and her parents and siblings. My father doesn't know much about his side of the family so I'm hoping that someone out there might be able to point me in the right direction.
Head: Jesse Lent b. ca. 1879 driver for a florist company
Wife: Maud b. ca. 1880, maiden name might be Lounsbury
Son: Myron b. ca. 1901, laborer for ice company
Son: Acil b. ca. 1908, I know he taught my dad how to fish
Dau: Bessie b. ca. 1909, may also have been Betty
Son: Jessie b. ca. 1911, may also be Jesse
Son: George b. ca. 1914, I know that he was very religious
Dau: Ruth b. ca. 1916
Dau: Gladys b. ca. 1918
Ruth eventually married a man named James Hull Davis from the Plattekill/Clintondale area. His parents are William Henry and Irene Davis. In the 1920 census they lived on Mill Rd right near the border of the two towns.
