I am searching for any information of my 5th great grandfather Frederick Lenz. Frederick was borl 18 Jul 1812 in Prussia, Germany. I do not have names of his parents, or siblings if any, and I would love to have this information. I know he was a German solider, and fought in the German revolution before 1848. He immigrated to Ohio between 1848 and 1850, and married Barbra or Barrea Vogler in Waverly Ohio between the years of 1850 and 1853. He later immigrated to Wisconsin, and then shortly there after settled in his final home in Center Township, Allamakee County Iowa, In 1854 or 1855 he purchased 120 acres of Land there in section 4 of that township. He and Barbra had 2 children who survived, Henry and Emma, and 5 children who passed, all aged 12 yrs - 2 yrs. He passed away in his home 19 Aug 1894, and is burried in Lansing Ridge Cemetery.
