I believe I am a descendant from Johann Peter Lenhart,Sr.
I am having problems finding my great-grandfathers parents. My father was Reginald Raymond Lenhart (1912-1996/CA), his parents were Samuel (Cellars)(1868-1951/KS/CA) & Della Rae (Sallee)(1886-1975/CA) Lenhart. Samuels parents were Reuben (1834-1925/OH/??)& Margaret J. (Cellars)(1875-????/OH/??) Lenhart. Could Jacob Lenhart (1786-1864) & Lydia Sprinkle (1800-1867) have been his parents? If so, could Reuben have married Margaret J. Cellars before he married Laura J. Jaudon(1855-1952)? They married Jan.14, 1882, and Samuel was born in 1868. Samuel would have been 14 yrs. old at the time of Reuben & Laura's marriage.

Lenhart (Leonhart), Henry H., Pvt Co B; mustered Sep 14, 1861; discharged Mar 17, 1863, on a surgeon's certificate; born @1837/38; a carpenter from Harrisburg, Dauphin County; 5' 9", dark hair, hazel eyes; in McKim's Hospital July 1862 and begged the governor to be returned home due to heart disease; married Catherine ?

I had some Leonharts in my family tree that are related to Johann Lenhart that came from Germany in 1748.
My Aunt Arlean may actually have some of the information you are looking for.
There are some relatives in Worfordsburg, PA and just across the border in Halfway, MD. The borders changed
occassionally and it is hard to get accurate info from the census. Anyway, check out my website at www.lenhartfamily.org and

Sorry I missed you when I was in Tulsa. I went to Spartan School of Areonautics (1990-1992). My grandfather was Howard William Leonhart (b. 12/28/1910 d. 12/94) originally from Cleveland, Ohio. I do not know if we are related or not. At Elis Island (Statue of Liberty), I found a Carl Leonhart listed as entering the U.S. in about 1890-1900. I don't know if he is my relative or not.

I have no clue of my ancestors, and am wondering, my grandmother is Ruth Gray, used to be Ruth Peirpont, My grandfather is Walt Gray, both live in Mena, Arkansas, and they used to live in Conneticuit. I am Tulsa, Oklahoma.
