My husbands mom's grandfather was Edward Letts, and was the older brother to Carrie. He too rode the orphan train when he was 12 and settled in Seclalia, MO before moving to Wyoming, then to Iowa. I knew his father was Edward, and what I had was Corrie Scudder. I was searching for info on their family/story as well.
