I read your Dec. 15, 2001 posting regarding Daniel Letts. My g, g, g grandfather, Abraham b. 1783 in New Jersey and moved to NY State. Had seven children from wife Eliza (last name unknown) including my g,g grandfather Abram. He married Sabrina Fuller, who had 5 children including my g grandfather, George, who married Emma Slater. Can provide more information on decendants of Abraham if you are interested. Like you, I cannot determine parents of Abraham.
