I am looking for info on a Carlo Leva who immigrated to the U.S. from Palermo, Italy. His wife was Catarina and he had several daughters, one of which was named Maria Assunta Leva. Another died at an early age of Yellow Fever in New Orleans, LA area. Carlo worked as an architect on the Panama Canal before moving his family to Philadelphia, where it is rumored that he designed many buildings. It has also been told to me that his father might have been a Baron.
If anyone has any info, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
