Lucille E. (Charest) Levesque, 93, of Nashua, NH, died due to failing health on Sat. March 21, 2009 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Levesque was born in Nashua on March 18, 1916 daughter of the late Etienne and Helene (St. Laurent) Charest and was the wife of the late Albert A. Levesque (1994) with whom she had shared more than 50 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by a son, Albert H. Levesque (2002); five bothers, Fernando, Alfred, Robert, Gerard (Pete), Joseph (Ralph); and three sisters, Blanche, Marcelle and Martha.
Mrs. Levesque attended the former St. Francis Xavier Church and School. She worked at the Nashua Knitting Mill, the Doehla Greeting Card Company and retired from the Mt. Pleasant Elementary School cafeteria.
Mrs. Levesque was a member of the Senior Citizens of Nashua and for more than 40 years she and her husband enjoyed spending time with friends and family at Hampton Beach where they owned and operated property. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting, especially Afghans for members of her family. She loved gatherings with family and friends and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her last years, much of her time was spent with her two loving daughters.
• Mrs. Levesque is survived by two daughters, Patricia Burke and her husband John Jr. (Jack) of Nashua and Diane Bibeau and her husband Richard of Nashua; one daughter-in-law, Susan Levesque of Nashua; one sister, Laure Fortier and her husband Roger of Nashua; one brother-in-law, Paul Belanger of Nashua; six grandchildren, Lisa Hogan, Lori Doherty, John T. Burke, Stacey Morrow, Allison Trepaney and Cory Barka; twelve great-grandchildren, Austin, Ethan, Erin, Alison, Morgan, Mitchell, Sarah, Avery, Tucker, Lauren, Kyle, Amelia; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
