My Great geat grandfather, Bernard Levy, was born in 1845 and came over to the USA from German/Polish area that was in dispute for many years. He crossed in 1850 and lived most of his life in Paterson, NJ. He was married to Augusta Kemp Levy and they had 7 children. He died c. 1928.
