Philip & Louisa were Roman Catholics & had 6 children: Philip, Maryann, Andrew, Margaret, Catherine & Joseph. Philip [b 1823] owned shoemaker shop on Carson St on Pittsburgh's South Side & later was a carpenter for J&L Steel.

Bessie Adelle LEW married 2 Jul 1903 Pittsburgh, John Hartley PHILLIPS, b 10 Sept 1880 Pittsburgh, son of Samuel W. & Esther M. PHILLIPS. 1920 census finds this family at 5617 Callowhill, Pittsburgh; 1930 finds them at 26329 York Rd, Royal Oak Twp, MI. 1930 shows one daughter, Helen H. PHILLIPS, b c1909 PA. John PHILLIPS worked in automobile industry.
