My grandmother Stella Lewandowski came here from Poland in April of 1912 with her mother, Maryanna Piechocki(?) and sister Bertha (married John Czarkowski). She also had 3 brothers: John, Stanley, and Joseph. Her father, Adam Lewandowski, was already here getting things settled. I don't know how long he was here. They lived in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia, PA. Adam had worked in a chemical factory in Philly and he died when he fell in a acid tank. My Aunt thinks it was around February of 1928. Maryanna died on 24 July 1966. We think her birth year was 1871. As of today, thats all I have. If anyone has any info or thinks they may be related, I would be greatful if you contacted me.
