Looking for any descendants of the Eustace LEWES formerly of Hay-on-Wye (Y Gelli) , Breconshire, Mid Wales who married Margaret, daughter of Hugh Meredith in 1785 in or near Hay. I ahve managed to find Colonel Charles James LEWES and Eustace Henry LEWES alive in the census of 1861 etc but I know there were other offspring;- Hugh Bytham lewes, Margaret Louisa, Jane Caroline Maria & Edward F Meredith LEWES all mentioned in the Will of their aunt, Jane in 1836. Another sister for Margaret, Mary .. married Edward Allen of Hay in 1795. Other cousins were the Vibarts of Somerset, london and India and the Mules of India and Devon.
Any info would be greatly appreciated..
