Thomas Lewman, my gggrandfather, was born in KY ca 1805/10. Married Charity Heden in Madison Co., IL, 1826. Served briefly in the Black Hawk War in 1832. Died of a fever in Madison Co., IL, 1833. Four children, Mary, Sarah, John, and my ggrandfather Gilbert Looman, b. June 1829. Charity married again in 1835 to John T. Norton. They later moved to Sebastian Co., AR. I have no info as to Thomas Lewman's parents or siblings. Have much info as to children. Would be glad to share.
