Leyman as middle name

Leyman as middle name

Just posting incase someone one day might have the answer....
My Grandfather's middle name was Leyman but I have no idea why his parents have it there
Herbert Leyman Wilson son of James A Wilson and Elizabeth Double .... br Evens City Butler Pa. 1901
His family on both sides has been in Pa since the mid 1700s.
Can't find anyone in the family that knows why Grandpa has Leyman as his middle name.
Same with my father William Boyd Wilson...no one knows why Boyd is his middle name.
Both are surnames and you would think they were family names of possible grandmothers or greats somewhere back in the lines but have not come across them yet.
