Hi there, I think my grandmother may have been that mistress lol. My grandfather who i think was born in 1926-8 was Jesus Limas who had four children with Eusebia Limas (Jesus, Jose, Maria, and Carmen. My dad is Jose(Joseph) Limas and he was born on 12/20/52 in elgin illinois.
It seems my grandfather migrated often and came and went from Texas, Tamaulipas Mexico, Illinois etc. Please call me at 773.971.8805 if you are related.

hi jesus limas , just wondering if you're related to Eluterio Limas from Matamoros,Tamaulipas who is my cousin . His father Pablo Limas was the brother of my father Abelardo ,they were sons of Silvestre Limas and Manuela Gonzales . This family initially lived in La Garita,Tamaulipas and then moved to Matamoros.I now reside in Chicago Illinois and have always wondered to my cousin Eluterio sons who I know are in Dallas. Hello my name is Stefani Limas, 17, and I'm from New Mexico. I was born and raised here. My grandfather, Ursulo Limas, was born in Mesilla Valley, but was raised in Torreon, Chihuahua, Mexico. My grandfathers father filed in the 1929-1930 Census under Benito Limas.

If somehow we are related there is a chance we might not be. My grandfathers brother, Abdono Limas, had many girlfriends in Mexico, all of which had children of their own. He gave them the Limas last name as an adopted name but refused to give the children that were really his the last name.

I came on this site as a school project and would like to find out where the last name Limas originated from and what it means. Does anybody have a clue?

I'm searching for information about my great-grandmother, Auroram Mariam Limas (maiden name)and my great grandfather, Joseph Ornelas. My great-granmother died in 1984 (Texas) under the name of Laura Ornellas. She was married to Joseph Philip Ornelas (which was changed to Ornellas - two l's). They lived in Santa Rosa, CA.

My grandfather is James Philip Ornellas with sisters Rosy and Inez. Grandpa was in various foster homes as a child.

Anyone have any information?

We have a large sized Limas family in Texas and it extends to Mexico! The Limas family is a last name that only our family carries around all the different cities our families live in Texas.

They eventually separated and my grandma's maiden name is Cerda.
My mother was born in Weslaco in January of 1954, but now resides just outside of Chicago.

My mom was a Grisso, my father's name was Raymond JR Limas, but was known by "Kako". I was born in 1979, the last family reunion was somewhere by a waterslide park outside of Manteca? Not so sure. I live in San Diego, CA, now. It's crazy sometimes because I always wonder where all the family went?!!

Since your mom is my cousin I think that makes you my second cousin. Howdy cousin! I might have a picture of you from a Limas family reunion near Manteca a number of years ago. You were probably pretty young at the time.

wait, my grandpa Raymond is your Uncle if Jesus or Jessie Limas is your Father. We used to live in Manteca. I remember my grandpa Raymond talking about the house they lived in Westminister was haunted by a ghost!! Ha ha!! he used to scare us all the time. My sister is Andrea and my mom Colleen.

I am Johanna Limas, my dad was Raymond B. Limas Jr.-siblings are Lydia M. Limas, Rosalinda "Rosie" Limas, their parents were Raymond B. Limas Sr. and Dominga "Sunday" Limas and parents were Jesus and Amelia Limas. My grandpa Raymond has a large family, they were living in the Westminister area of Orange County, Calif. His siblings were Joe Limas, Alfonso Limas, Jessie Limas, Jenny Limas, Anna Limas, there are more, but I forgot their names. Anyhow, my grandpa said that some of the family ties are in Mexico City and ties with last names such as "Camaro". Most of us are in the Manteca, Calif. area.
I was told that one of my Aunt's has the Family Book. Not sure though. Do you know anything about a Book?

Hi, Christina, I have heard the same thing-That all the Limases are related.My Granfather was Casimiro He had a brother, Santiago. Those are the only two that I know.There were others.They moved from Tamaulipas, Mexico to Texas then to Chicago. Santiago went back to Mexico and died there. My grandfather died in Chicago. Cristina, you mentioned that your grandfather's name is Eusebio, but what is his father's name? Do you know if he is a JR? Let me know when you get a chance. My Great Grandfather is Eusebio but he is deceased. My Grandfather's name is Gustavo and is from Michigan. Currently he is living with his dauther or niece. Rudy, More info as promised, My grandfather was Casimiro, passed away in Chicago in 1978. His brother was Santiago(whom I was named after), he also lived in Chicago then moved back to Mexico. I don't know if he is still living. Their parents were Mauro and Virginia. My father was Alfonso.
