Surnames: Lindberg Werlin Newell
I'm travelling to Sweden in October 2007 and would like to find evidence of my ancestors there. I have my great grandfather born in Malmo on 30 July 1854. His parents are Andus (or Anders) LINDBERG and Hannah LINDBERG (nee WERLIN - I think). Carl Gustaf married Eliza Harriet NEWELL in 1885 in Melbourne, Australia and died in Melbourne. I have tried all over the place to find out which ship he arrived on, but I believe he jumped ship in Melbourne so he is difficult to trace in that respect. Is there anyone out there who can help me get any further back in Sweden? I would dearly love to place him there and his parents. I'll be eternally grateful to you.
