Carol Marlene Lindberg (Elsing) (Beam) is my mother born 12-31-37. She and her 2 sisters, one older and one younger, were turned over to an orphanage in Minneapolis in the 1940's and subsequently adopted by Joe and Amanda Elsing of Windom, MN. Her birth mother, Marlene Lindberg, died of tuberculosis when she was 4 years old. Her birth father, Justin Everett Lindberg, tried to take care of all of the children for awhile after her death but could not. My mother talked about her brothers, Donnie Lindberg and Earl Lindberg and a sister?? Sonny many tmes so I know she remembered them. Carol passed away on Christmas morning 2006 at my home with all of her children with her. I am the oldest daughter and we are trying to find our missing family.
