Thea, my Great Grandmother is Brita Linde, and she grew up in the Camrose area of Alberta, Canada. This is quite close to Lloydminster, which sits on the border between Alberta and Saskatchewan. Unfortunately, I have always been told that that line originated in Sweden, so there may be no connection. Your message moved be though, so I will use my skills as a Canadian prairie historian to try and do some digging for you.

Brita (Betsy), who married Gustav Akerstrom, died in 1918. Her siblings were Ellen, Anna (married a Lingran), and Betty.

Her father was Eric Linde, and he is believed to have been born in Canada as well, while his parents are believed to have been born in Sweden, but I have no confirmation of any of this.
