"Ms. Lindholm, 70, passed away August 18, 2005 at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte [, Mecklenberg County, NC]. June was born on June 4, 1935 in Roanoke, VA to the late Arthur Cleveland Parsons and Irene Webb Parsons. Mrs. Lindholm served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-1955. On November 19, 1955, June married Richard Lindholm in Troutville, Virginia. June was employed by Bell South Telephone Co. as an Operator from 1973 until 1996 at which time she retired. June was a member of the River Hills Community Church in Lake Wylie, [York County,] SC, where the couple resided. In addition to her husband, Richard, June is survived by four children; Karen Rynkiewicz and her husband Paul, of Wauwatosa, WI, Eric Lindholm and his wife Cyndi of Miami, FL, Kenneth B. Lindholm and his wife Laura, of Charlotte, NC, and Katherine Lindholm of Atlanta, GA. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Evelyn, Jacob, John, Amy, Kyle, and Nicole. Mrs. Lindholm is survived by one brother, Marvin Parsons of Salem, VA, and one sister, Norma Clary of North Wilkesboro, NC. June is prececeased by one sister, Betty Stanley.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 20, 2005 from 7-9 PM at the McEwen Funeral Service-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Pineville, NC 28210. Funeral service will be Sunday, August 21, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the River Hills Community Church, Highway 49 in Lake Wylie, SC. Interment will follow at the River Hills Community Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Thornwell Home & School for Childlren, P.O. Box 60, Clinton, SC 29525."
