I wrote to you over a year ago about your Samuel R. Lindley, father of William Peter Lindley. I have received information this week that my greatgrandmother, Martha F. Adair born Oct. 1864 in MS has a strong possibility of being the first child of Mahala Adeir -Adair, wife of a Samuel R. Lindley. Mahala's maiden name was possibly Robins and her first husband was an Adair. Also, a William Peter Lindley married my ggrandfather's sister, Mary L. Haney, Jan. 3, 1886 in Lafayette co. MS. the same day and place that my ggrandfather, Jacob S. Haney married Martha F. Adair. This Samuel R. Lindley, wife Mahala and son William Peter and other children lived in several counties in MS.
