Curiosity has gotten the best of me. I'm hooked. Once in awhile i plug in the name Lineberry to see what's what. Was happy to find the free sites with the info. Like to begin with a big Thankyou to all who have put time into this.
My husband's 4th great grandparents were Jacob Lineberry III and Mary Catherine Youngblood. Third great- Jacob
Lineberry lV and Mary Fanning. Second great- Jeremiah and Beda E. Smith (Beda was a 2nd marriage I believe. They had four children. Jeremiah's first marriage was to Catherine Delp. Two children, Mary: b. 1847? and John C.: b. 1848? ) His great grandparents were Jeremiah Adam Lineberry b.1853 and Sarah Frances Ayers. They had five children... In 1878? my husbands grandfather was born. His name was Wilburn T. Lineberry. I have found some information on Wilburn and his marriagesthat may be incorrect. Wilburn's first marriage was to Nora Alderman ( b. 1883? / I believe she died in 1934 of gall bladder complications) All of Wilburn's children were with Nora Alderman. My father-in-law, John C. Lineberry, was born in 1922. John C. is the youngest of the children. There is also a Kemper O. and a Rennie C. ( other brothers and sisters as well, I do not know all of the children's names but I will post when I find out) My husband's family comes from Galax, Va. ; Woodlawn Va.; MO. There are cousins with the name of Burnette in Woodlawn and Edwards from Galax. My husbands Uncle Rennie was from Missouri. If you have any thing to add, please reply. SORRY THIS WAS SO LONG...
