I am looking for information on the parents or siblings of Thomas Linnell, born about 1792. He married Elizabeth Legge in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia in 1822. They had 8 children. Thomas died in New Ross, Nova Scotia in 1868. After his death many of his children and grandchidren began using the surname CHASE, which leads us to believe that Thomas's true name was CHASE and that the children knew this. Any clues to Thomas's life before 1822 would be appreciated. I would also apppreciate learning about other LINNELLs with an Eastern Canadian connection.
