Vivian E. Linster
Centralia- Vivian E. Linster, 83, died Friday, July 12, at her home in Centralia.
She was born Aug. 11, 1912, in Roundup, Mont., to Arthur H. and Mary Etheyl Dunn Nelson. She was raised in Montana, Florida and Illinois, and graduated from Lakeview High School in Chicago.
Pursuing a career as a bookkeeper, she first worked for the Prudential Insurance Co. in Chicago and later for the Socony Oil Co. in Great Falls, Mont.
She had lived in Centralia for 15 years.
She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and served as secretary for the Centralia chapter for several years.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Jon V. Krug of Montesano and Paul H. Stephens of Great Falls, Mont.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A daughter, Eleanor E. Jones, preceded her in death.
A family memorial service and inurnment for Vivian E. Linster will be held Aug. 12, at Fairhaven.
